Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using big3.me ("the Service"), including the big3.me iOS app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Community Rules in section 5. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

big3.me is a social network where people connect through their birth charts. Members keep charts for themselves and the people they know, follow each other, like charts, see who follows and likes theirs, write to each other in private messages, and compare two charts side by side. Every position and measurement is computed with the Swiss Ephemeris. The Service is intended for entertainment, education and self-reflection.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account and everything it owns at any time from Settings in the app.

4. Disclaimer

The Service describes the sky: where the planets are, the measurements computed from their positions (such as the day's intensity and tension), and short descriptions of what those measurements mean. These are not predictions. The Service names no events, people or decisions, and nothing in it tells you what will happen. It is for entertainment, education and self-reflection only, and it is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. We make no guarantees about how any description applies to you.

5. Community Rules

big3.me has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. These rules apply to everything one member puts in front of another: profile names and handles, and private messages. None of it may contain, and you must not use the Service for:

• harassment, bullying, threats or hate directed at any person or group
• sexual, obscene or violent names, messages or content
• impersonating another person, or presenting someone's chart as your own account
• spam, fake accounts, unwanted messages, or following, liking and messaging in bulk
• sharing another person's birth data in order to harass or expose them

Names that break these rules are refused when a profile is created or edited, and messages carrying slurs or sexual violence are refused when they are sent. You can write to a member who follows you, and anyone you write to can answer. How many messages can be sent is limited to stop spam.

Any member can report a profile from its menu, or a person from a conversation, and can block its owner: a block removes every follow and like between the two accounts, closes any conversation between them, hides each from the other's search, and is not announced to the blocked person. Blocked accounts are listed in Settings, where they can be unblocked.

Every report is reviewed by a person within 24 hours. A report made from a conversation includes the latest messages of that conversation, so the person reviewing it can see what was said. When content breaks these rules we remove it, and we suspend or delete the accounts responsible: abusive users are removed from the Service. The account that is reported is not told who reported it.

6. User Data

We collect birth data (date, time, location) to compute charts. A profile's name, handle and chart can be found and viewed by other members. Private messages are stored on our servers so that both members of a conversation can read them, and nobody else sees them unless one of the two reports the conversation. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on big3.me, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of big3.me or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Break the Community Rules in section 5

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall big3.me be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
