big3.me ("we", "our", "the Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use big3.me:

• Account data: email address and authentication provider (Apple, Google, or email)
• Birth data: date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth — used solely for generating natal charts and transit reports
• Profile data: names and usernames you assign to natal profiles
• Payment data: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Generate natal charts, transit reports, and synastry analysis
• Manage your account and subscription
• Improve the Service and fix issues

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Stripe: for payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• Supabase: for secure data storage and authentication (subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy)
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase with encryption at rest. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

7a. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from within the app:

1. Open Settings (gear icon) → Account
2. Scroll to Delete Account and tap the button
3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears

Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately, and the action cannot be undone.

If you are unable to access the app, email us at big3meapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account with the subject "Delete my account" and we will process the request within 5 business days.

What gets deleted: your profile, birth data, natal chart, synastry data, follow relationships, subscription records, and all account information. Deletion is permanent.

What is retained: anonymized usage statistics required by law (up to 30 days after deletion).

8. Cookies & Analytics

big3.me uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics services that collect personal data.

9. Children's Privacy

big3.me is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
